Mask-o-Raid 2022

“Mask-O-Raid 2022” was presented by the Comic-Con Museum & Funko. This (Costume Party) event featured:

• A world-class exhibit of 1970s vintage Ben Cooper Halloween costumes and masks by Funko Founder, Funmaker Mike Becker himself!
• A giveaway for a rare Funko Pop! that each attendee received. There were also other raffle prize opportunities;
• A Q&A Panel with Funko’s very own CCO Brian Mariotti;
• A Meet-and-Greet, photo op, and signing with Brian & Mike;
• "Traditions: A Halloween Retrospective" presentation by Funmaker Mike (two shows during the night—theater seating is limited);
• Trick-or-Treating for special Comic-Con Museum treats;
• Spooky jams by DJ Chino and costumed performers;
• Heavy appetizers, beer, wine (one drink ticket included & cash bar);
• Costume contests and prizes for Funniest, Scariest, Most Original and Best of Show;
• Art, merch for sale from some of Funko’s best!
• Plenty of surprises and giveaways.

Proceeds from the event benefitted the Comic-Con Museum Education Center and Access Fund to help provide field trips for Title 1 schools in San Diego County.

Costumes were encouraged beforehand so that attendees went Dressed for Distress!!!

The event took place on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 19:00 to 22:00 PDT at the Comic-Con Museum (2131 Pan American Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101, United States).
