Serving as the series' deuteragonist, MeeMee is one of the main characters of Super Monkey Ball, and the second-most prominent character from the franchise as a whole. Within the fictional universe, MeeMee is the loyal wife of AiAi who is always worrying about his addiction to bananas. Together, they had a son named Baby. Despite their happy lives, MeeMee is consistently harassed by Dr. Bad Boon who has an everlasting crush on the monkey. As a result, she often finds herself meddled within the evil doctor's plans.
Described as one of Sega's more popular female characters, MeeMee has gone on to appear in several other Sega-related video games and franchises. MeeMee has also been prominently featured outside the Super Monkey Ball series, including the Sega All-Stars and Sonic the Hedgehog series'.
