The Melrose Missile was a 1963 Plymouth Savoy. More precisely, it was two different ones, with two different drivers. Tom Grove drove the three-speed stick shift & Charlie Di Bari drove the one with the push button automatic. It was retired in 1965 & then restored. It is currently on display at (Bob) Mosher's Musclecar Motors.
It broke 26 records during its two racing seasons.
