Odie

Odie is a character from the Garfield franchise. He is the lovable, sometimes dopey, yellow-furred, brown-eared beagle who is Garfield's best friend and frequent victim. Although Garfield says that he is dumb, Odie can be clever on occasion. Garfield once described him as "honest, true blue, and decent." He is constantly panting with his very large tongue and often drools huge puddles.  He is capable of communicating through barks, but the meanings of his barks are made clear only through Garfield's responses.
