Early Pathfinder models were castings produced by Brooklin and sprayed and assembled local to Pathfinder. At the time Brooklin wanted to increase production to more than the planned 600, so Pathfinder tried a couple of other manufacturers and used GTA Models until the end of production at No. 36. They had planned for a total reaching No.60 but due to Jeffs's unfortunate illness in the later years, they decided to call it a day.
Pathfinder models were one of the collectors model scenes best white metal model producers. It’s subjects were largely of 1950s and 1960s British cars although a couple of European cars and some vans were also produced. They also made some models for G.W. Engineering and Minicar of Norway. The firm was created by Jeff and Sue Sharrock and traded for a number of years before it closed as a result of ill health after the production of the 1950 AC 2 Litre.
