The Federal Police (Spanish: Policía Federal, PF), formerly known as the Policía Federal Preventiva (Federal Preventive Police), was a Mexican national police force. It was under the authority of the Department of Security and Civil Protection. The Federal Police was officially dissolved and absorbed into the National Guard, a new national police institution created on 1 October 2019.
