Prince Herbert of Swamp Castle is a recurring character from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He was the prince of Swamp Castle and was supposed to marry a princess (with huge... tracts of land) because Herbert's father was very greedy. When he was locked in his room he realised that the guards were stupid and hiccuping, so he took a note, put on a bow and shot it, hitting a servant named Concorde. Then Lancelot found the note and rushed toward the castle. He ran in and murdered almost everyone and was surprised that Herbert was not a lady, and when Herbert's Father came in and met Lancelot he got greedy and tried to marry him to the princess while he cut Herbert's rope that made him fall out the window. Then Concorde saved him and he started to sing and Concorde and Lancelot escaped. He was played by Terry Jones.
