Retro Deluxe

Retro Deluxe is a series of former AMT model kits reissued by Round2 Models.
The kits feature nostalgic box art mimicking the originals, often come with expanded decal sheets based on the originals, and often newly tooled tires with pad printed sidewall designs. Usually Round2 opens all channels of the molds that were blocked off in previous reissues, so the Retro Deluxe kits often contain accessories and/or customizing parts not included in these kits for decades. Sometimes these kits are augmented, or supplemented, with newly tooled components, that were either missing from the original tooling, or to enhance them.
Retro Deluxe kits can also be reissues of kits newly tooled by AMT/Ertl in the 1990s, but with box art resembling AMT Annuals formerly tooled decades earlier.
