"By Myself Betrayed!" First appearance of the Rose.It's the debut of a new underworld super-villain...the Rose! And as the web-slinger finds out...this rose has plenty of nasty thorns! The star quarterback of New York's football team is on the take! And when the Rose orders him to throw his upcoming playoff game, the QB fights back! But the Rose's thugs are coming on an all-out blitz! And without the wall-crawler's help, the quarterback will get sacked...permanently! Meanwhile, Peter tells his aunt that he has dropped out of graduate school. It does not go well...to say the least! Cameo appearances by Joe Robertson, Betty Brant Leeds, and Aunt May.
