Roadace Replicas

Something Missing?

Roadace Replicas were made by hand in Mannamead, Plymouth, England in the 1970s to 1990s. Principals were A. K. Dolton and B. E. Dolton. Principal subjects have been sports and GT cars, sports racing cars, and Formula 1 racing cars.

Models were cast in resin and individually painted by hand, including such details as hood louvers, aperture lines, and spokes on wire wheels. Plastic was used for flat windscreens and occasionally metal was formed and used for details like cycle-type fenders. Most are in a scale of 1/100 though, incredibly, some are even smaller.
