Official Text: "I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow the villains away!"- Airblast's quote from his character infobox.
Airblast is a golden SuperZings and the Super Hero Leader in Series 1. His rival is Kactor, a cactus. He is both the first SuperZings marked, as well as the first Golden Character and Hero. He is based off a yellow balloon. He first appeared in the titular short episode where he and Kactor fought, titled The Mysterious Robbery of the Kazoom: Part I, and he later reappeared in Episode 25 of the Superthings Cartoon Series as a minor character.
Abilities
In his character infobox, his ability is labelled as "Hurricane". What this power can do is make Airblast blow a jet of air so powerful that it can blast enemies out of the city.
Official Text "Keep the change!" - Coink's quote from his character infobox.
Coink is a villain Silver Rare from Series 1 and is the leader of Furious Gang. He is rivalled with Ironhead, who is the leader of Star Team. This could indicate the two teams are rivalled. He resembles a silver piggy bank with what seems to be a collar.
He appears in Episode 10 of the SuperZings Cartoon Series. In that episode, he takes on the role of the referee, he tosses his coin used for powers to start the match, although later on in Episode 32 Clowny drew a picture of him, and he reappears in the Episode 'The Race of the Century'.
Abilities
His power is labelled as "Boomerang Coins". It states that he doesn't throw away money, referring to his coin. It is super hard to dodge and fly like boomerangs. In Episode 10, like said before, Coink uses the same coins for the football match to start.
Official Text 'You can't resist my power!' - Darknetic's quote from his character infobox.
Darknetic is a Silver Rare SuperZings introduced in Series 1 and is the leader of the Mutant Bandits. He is a magnet and his rival is Metal Crunch, a wrench. As Metal Crunch is the leader of the Central Patrol, it is safe to assume that both teams are rivalled.
Abilities
Darknetic's power is listed as Super Attraction. His powerful magnet attracts all metal objects and SuperZings around him.
Official Text :
'Does it tickle?' - Elektron's quote from his character infobox.
Elektron is a Silver Rare SuperZings from Series 1, and is the leader of the Mad Clan. His rival is Sparky, a lightbulb, and he resembles a battery.
Abilities
His power is listed as 'Electric Storm' meaning that he can shoot powerful sparks, which are very dangerous!
Official Text: "Who will solve this Enigma..." - Enigma's quote from the Episode 'The Mysterious Robbery of the Kazoom'.
Enigma is an Ultra Rare SuperZings from Series 1 and the main protagonist of the entire SuperZings | SuperThings Franchise.
He was the prime suspect of stealing the Kazoom from Professor K, as well as being a bounty for Cornelius and Juicetice who were sent to hunt for him by Mr. King in the Series 3 Cartoons. He used the stolen Kazoom to create Kid Kazoom. In the Secret Spies Series, he was seen giving his secrets to Hardlock, which was evidenced by Oculus Max, who was recording it. After appearing as a cameo character in Episode 10 of Power Machines, he makes a full return in Rescue Force and now he too can be a Kazoom Kid and has a Superbot. He is also revealed in the Neon Power Series to be a pupil of Colorflash.
Not much is known about Enigma's past, except that he was formerly Professor. K's assistant and Colorflash's pupil. It is unknown whether he was taught his magic skills by Colorflash before or after working for Professor K, but the latter is more likely. He was shown in Episode 6 as Professor K's assistant; he was clumsy and curious, an example being when he tripped over a wire, dropping the Kazoom and angering the Professor. In Episode 6, Professor. K demonstrates to Enigma how to make a superthing, by mixing white formula with Kazoom energy. Enigma questions the yellow formula, which is used to make the villains of the franchise, only for Professor. K to warn him not to use it. After Mr. C was formed, Enigma describes it as magic, only for Professor. K to deny it, calling it stupid and non-existent, saying it is a load of stupid tricks to entertain people. At this, Enigma remarks that he likes "magic, mysteries and enigmas", which may imply that his own name comes from this interest. After that, he was told to leave, only to come back to get his hat. Frustrated that Enigma now knows that he is secretly evil, Professor. K decides to unsuccessfully disintegrate Enigma, while Enigma himself escapes with his hat. Professor. K calls Mr. King and tells him about the plan being revealed, answering when Mr. King questions Enigma's identity, saying that he is his assistant. Enigma's young form is also seen in Series 4 as a flashback, hiding behind a TV, while Professor. K and Mr. King discuss their plans.
Despite his character infobox giving no information about him, it is clear what many of his abilities are in the show. He is often seen in possession of his wand, which can blast blue-coloured energy out of it, destroying or damaging anything in its path. His wand can also levitate objects, as with the broken rails during Kid Kazoom's battle with Kid Fury. It is also said in the first episode of the SuperZings Cartoons that he has the power of all the SuperZings in the city, however whether that is canon or not is ambigious. He can hypnotize people, as seen when he disguised himself with a hand-puppet, using it to hypnotize Cornelius and Juicetice into falling asleep hugging Professor. K whenever they saw him. He owns his own jet called the Aeronigma, which has a grabber that he uses to steal things, like the Kazoom and Professor. K's transformation machine. In Rescue Force, he is seen having the ability to turn into a Kazoom Kid.
Enigma is usually shown as mysterious and enigmatic (hence his name) and can be seen laughing when others are tricked by him. He is a master escape artist, as seen in Episode 17 when he tricks Toybot, Hardburger and Brush Lee into thinking that he was flying away in his Aeronigma, but instead was sneaking into Clank Corp. However, he is also shown to be cocky and not always think his plans through well, such as in Episode 25 when he asks Clowny to help him due to his plans not going as smoothy as he'd hoped, and 26, where the explosion from Kid Kazoom's transformation was larger than he anticipated and he ended up getting injured, as well as damaging the equipment in his lair. On the other hand, he does adapt well to unexpected changes and he always finds a way to make the tides turn in his favour. In stressful situations, he often doesn't let his worries show, keeping calm and collected no matter how much danger he or others may be in. Also, he is very selfless and tries to help others who are in trouble even at his own expense, as in episodes 20 and 21 where he saves Cornelius and Juicetice from Mr. King and his Super Leaders, blowing his own cover in the process. Enigma is also shown to be slightly embarrassed by Colorflash, his mentor, acting surprised when Colorflash appears to help him, and trying to convince him to leave in Episode 1 of Neon Power — very much like how some people are embarrassed by their parents. This behaviour is also shown in the Neon Power comic guide. He is also very much a fan of magic, being very good at it himself and having posters for magicians up on the walls of his lair. This has been one of his interests since he was young.
Enigma resembles a top hat, though his actual representative object has never been fully explained. The hat covers most of his head and has a question mark symbol in the middle. The hat has eyeholes and a green hero mask, resembling the ribbon usually found above the brim of top hats. His main body takes on a dark blue colour. He is also seen wearing a tie with gloves and a blue cape with a green inner lining. From Rescue Force onwards, his cape is green with a purple question mark motif on the back. He also wears shoes that are usually purple; however, his question mark symbol, tie, shoes and gloves seem to change colour often, being either green, purple or even dark blue in the case of his shoes. This is likely to be an error due to the art style changing between episodes. When Enigma was younger, the hat lacked the question mark symbol, and he had a hoodie instead, which covered his eyes and had a question mark on top of the hood. He was also shown with a light blue face when he was younger.
Official Text "Hey, come over here, come a little closer...!"- Ironhead's quote from his character infobox.
Ironhead is a Silver Rare SuperZings from Series 1, who resembles a hammer. He is the leader of the Star Team and is rivalled with Coink. He makes an appearance as a supporting character in Episode 8 of the Superthings Cartoon Series, later appearing as a background character in Episode 9, and then a minor character in Episode 25.
Abilities
In his character infobox, his power is labelled as "Metal Breaker". What this does is make Ironhead attack by using his head, nailing enemies to the floor, which acts as how a hammer is used for nails.
Official Text "There's no place to hide from my mighty spikes!"- Kactor's quote from his character infobox.
Kactor is a Super Rare | Gold Rare character and the Super Villain Leader in Series 1. He is rivalled with Airblast, and resembles a yellow cactus. He first appeared in the titular short Episode where he fought his rival, titled The Mysterious Robbery of the Kazoom: Parts I and II, and then appeared in Episode 21 of the Superthings Cartoon Series as a minor character.
In his character infobox, his ability is labelled as "Spike Attack". This power can make Kactor use huge strength to project a shower of spikes that can likely hurt people. That power can only be stopped by Airblast.
Official Text "Let's tighten you right up!" - Metal Crunch's quote from his character infobox.
Metal Crunch is a Silver Rare hero in Series 1 and is the leader of Central Patrol. He resembles a wrench and he is rivalled with Darknetic, who is the leader of Mutant Bandits. As Metal Crunch is the leader of the Central Patrol, it is safe to assume that the Central Patrol and the Mutant Bandits are rivalled. His first and only appearance was in Episode 9 of the SuperZings Cartoon Series as a background ccharacter.
Abilities
His power is labelled as "The Crunch". Metal Crunch can lock down his rivals and leaving them unable to move. He can do this because of his strength, as said in his infobox. He may supposedly lock down his rivals by twisting his body, like how a wrench or spanner would normally do.
Official Text: 'You will see...' - Sparky's quote from his character infobox.
Sparky is a Silver Rare SuperZings from Series 1, and is the leader of the Cool Troop. His rival is Elektron, a battery, and he resembles a lightbulb. As Elektron is the leader of the Mad Clan and Sparky is the leader of the Cool Troop, it is safe to assume that both teams are rivalled. Like Metal Crunch, he doesn't appear in a titular short Episode where he fights his rival, and he doesn't appear in the SuperZings Cartoon Series, unlike Ironhead, so he is a minor character. His only appearance was in Episode 17 of the SuperZings Cartoons, but even then his back was turned.
Abilities
His power is labelled as 'Blind Rays' meaning that he can use his head to project a field of blinding light that leaves his enemies unable to move.
