Sid Krofft and Marty Krofft are a sibling team of television creators and puppeteers who were influential in children's television and variety show programs in the U.S., particularly throughout the 1970s and early 1980s. Their creations include The Banana Splits (1968-1970), H.R. Pufnstuf (1969), The Bugaloos (1970-1971), Lidsville (1971), Sigmund and the Sea Monsters (1973), Lidsville (1971-1973), Land of the Lost (1974), and Far Out Space Nuts (1975), to name a few.
In April 2018, the Kroffts were awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys. On February 13, 2020, the Kroffts were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their contributions in television.
