Sugar Pop Pete is a fictional character and one of Kellogg’s official mascots. He is a prairie dog dressed as a cowboy, who advertised for the Sugar Pops cereal. He was introduced in the 1960s, and sang the jingle: "Oh, the Pops are sweeter and the taste is new. They're shot with sugar, through and through... Sugar Pops are tops!"
