Handbuilt, 1/43 white metal models by Modelauto in Leeds, England, owned by Rod Ward. The range was made from 1983 to around 2012. Later cars were in resin. The DeSoto and Bristol 450 were remakes based on AGM models, also made in England.

Most or all of the commercial vehicles (Diamond T, Rotinoff, and Scammel) were manufactured by ASAM for Modelauto.  They are still labeled as SUN on the ASAM pricelist at http://www.asam.co.uk/plnber29.html .

"Most of our casting was by CMA Mouldcast of Birmingham (metal and resin) though some large and tricky metal components were cast by small specialists. In addition we had certain models cast by Alan Smith and by others, especially if our pattern makers had a relationship with a certain firm. We even had some items cast in Germany and France.  I always wanted to spread our pattern making and casting around the industry so as not to be dependent on any one source."   --Rod Ward, 2024.
