Theodore "T. C." Calvin

Theodore "T. C." Calvin is a fictional character in the 1980s television series, Magnum, P.I. He is a helicopter pilot who operates a tourist charter business called Island Hoppers. He was played by Roger E. Mosley.

T. C.—who often wears a Da Nang baseball cap—is a former officer and aviator in the United States Marine Corps, having served with the VMO-2 based at Da Nang, South Vietnam. His combat-trained flight skills are often enlisted by Thomas Magnum during the course of an investigation, with Magnum usually having to promise favors in return for taking T. C. away from paying clients. He is also very powerfully built, which comes in handy when Magnum runs into physical trouble.
