With Mjolnir, Thor is able to channel and call lightning, fly, possesses super strength, and immortality. Thor, son of Odin, ruler of Asgard, was banished to Earth after Odin decides that Thor needs a lesson in humility. He falls in love with human, Jane Foster. Thor's hammer Mjolnir is only able to be lifted by the worthy, a theme that has stuck throughout the many stories that Thor has been involved in.
