Transformers: Animated

TV (2007-2009) | TV Show

Something Missing?
Transformers: Animated was a series produced by Cartoon Network. It first began airing December 26th, 2007 in America and ran through May 23rd, 2009 at three seasons, and an unfortunate cancellation. The series however was delayed in Japan, only beginning its release April 3rd, 2010 where it also received a new intro with unique animations and opening theme.

The main Autobots of the series are Optimus Prime, Prowl, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee; Its Decepticons are Megatron, Starscream, Blitzwing, Lugnut, and Blackarachnia, and the main human cast consists of Professor Isaac Sumdac, Sari Sumdac, and Captain Fanzone.

The autobots are stranded on Earth, in a futuristic Detroit, searching for fragments of the shattered All Spark (with the help of Sari Sumdac) before the Decepticons can get to them first. It's up to them to save the day, but with the All Sparks ability to bring things to life and cause destruction wherever it goes, it's not an easy task, and not all is well back on Cybertron either.
