Vesper Lynd is the Bond Girl in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale. Lynd is sent to assist Bond in his mission to win a poker game against villain LeChiffre. She and Bond fall in love and plan to be together but it is then revealed that Vesper has been tricked into falling for a Quantum agent and blackmailed into embezzling money for them. She is killed in Bond's final battle with Quantum. Lynd is played by the French actress Eva Green.
