Violet Beauregarde

Violet Beauregarde is a fictional character appearing in Roald Dahl's 1964 children's novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She is one of the five children who ends up winning a golden ticket, and is allowed to take a tour through Wonka's famous chocolate factory. In all official mediums of the story, Violet is the second child "eliminated" on the tour after stealing one of Wonka's three-course dinner chewing gum and turning herself into a giant blueberry.

In the 1971 film adapataion, Violet is portrayed by Denise Nickerson, and by AnnaSophia Robb in the 2005 adapation by Tim Burton.
