Widescreen Games was a development studio founded in late 1999 by Olivier Masclef, Dominique Peyronnet and Pierre Deltour in Lyon, France.
On 9th July 2009 it officially went out of business when the Bankruptcy Court of Lyon liquidated the studio. The studio ran intro trouble when CD Projekt cancelled development on The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf in April 2009, a title Widescreen had been working on.
