Wilbur Shaw was an American race car driver. He was the second person to win the Indianapolis 500 three times & the first person to in twice in a row. He was also president of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 1945 - 1954. He was also an automotive test evaluator for Popular Science magazine.
