Wilson Mooney was Hank Jennings' parole officer. In late February 1989, Hank was due for a parole meeting, so Mooney met with Hank's wife, Norma. He told her of Hank's good behavior and the likelihood of his release. When he asked her how she dealt with potential suitors, she responded that she would tell them about her homicidally-jealous husband. Hank was released after his parole meeting the following day.
