Part of the 50th Anniversary Jumbo Stained Glass Guitar Series, sold exclusively in the Online Rock Shop. Series celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Hard Rock Cafe brand, founded in 1971. Each pin is a large vertical guitar with an ornate gold border, a local scene that includes white screen print, and a colorful translucent background that resembles stained glass. Each pin has a different background color and represents a different city.
New York pin features the Statue of Liberty in white and a background of translucent blue. Behind statue is a city skyline in yellow, orange and red, including the One World Trade Center building in orange at top right. Blue background includes white silhouettes of three flying birds. At top center of guitar body is a Hard Rock 50th anniversary logo with location name, all in white.
Pin was sold only in the Online Rock Shop, not at Hard Rock Cafe New York.
Back of pin says "Limited Edition 200."
