C-3PO is a human-cyborg relations droid built by Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine. Fluent in over 6 million languages, C-3PO often finds himself and his companion R2-D2 in the center of major galactic events. After Anakin and Padme Amidala got married, he was given to Padme as her service droid while she served as Galactic Senator of Nabboo. The events of the Clone War passed, seeing C-3PO in the center of several major events, and following the end of the war and the rise of the Galactic Empire, his memory was erased and he served with R2-D2 on board the Tantive IV with Captain Antilles. From there, C-3PO found himself on Tatooine with R2-D2 looking for Obi-Wan Kenobi after Leia had entrusted R2 with the plans for the Death Star. Threepio was a major part of the rebellion, helping Luke Skywalker and Han Solo to escape the Death Star, Cloud City and Endor, where his knack for languages saved them all many times. After the end of the Rebellion, he aided Luke and Han in stamping out the remnants of the Galactic Empire.
In the Disney+ Rebuild the Galaxy series, C-3PO becomes a bounty hunter.
