The Joker is a super-villain, archnemesis to the Batman, serial killer, and madman who dresses like a clown. Though he is highly regarded as one of the most dangerous villains in Gotham, he spends most of his time in Arkham Asylum. He is psychotic in every sense of the word, and is constantly adapting his madness to find some terrible niche in the world he's in. Batman is his only worthy opponent but seems to pass up on multiple opportunities to kill Batman. Joker was created by Jerry Robinson, Bill Finger and Bob Kane, first appearing in Batman #1.
