In 2014, he joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Sam Wilson / Falcon, making his first appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and reprising the role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and he will continue in the role in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series coming to Disney+ streaming service in 2021 as part of the MCU's Phase 4.
