In 2000, Deutsche Post (the German Post) via Danzas subsidiary acquired the entire ASG, which changed its name to Danzas. In 2002, the German post bought DHL, which was subsequently named as name, when it was considered more famous worldwide than Danzas was, so from autumn 2003 the former ASG, is called DHL.
