Designed by Phil Riehlman, Hollowback was introduced in the AcceleRacers series. Serving as Tork Maddox's only choice of vehicle, the car debuts in a street race against Teku rival Nolo Pasaro's Synkro. Over the course of the series, the vehicle is gradually equipped with Nitrox 2, adaptive tire technology, and a deployable blade. Hollowback is among the final vehicles leading the charge on the Racing Drones headquarters and is consequently abandoned in Drone City. Post-AcceleRacers era, Hollowback has made various appearances in different Hot Wheels media.

#5. Note this is the version with CM5 wheels similar to the ones found on the 2003 World Race cars, as this wheel is not translucent.
United Kingdom/Europe version. Features slightly different wheels and the ability of battery removal via Phillips screw (though doing this removes the whole battery compartment, as the batteries are glued in/not designed to be interchangeable). Probably an alteration made in compliance with different safety standards
