Arai Helmet is a Japanese manufacturer of motorsport helmets that began in 1926 by Hirotake Arai, a hatmaker. The company has since remained in family hands; Michio "Mitch" Arai currently runs the company. 

Each Arai Helmet is handmade and they have consistently rated first in customer satisfaction ten years running in the J.D. Power and Associates Motorcycle Helmet Satisfaction Studies.

Well-known MotoGP racers that use Arai Helmets include Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa. Arai's GP-6 RC is also popular among Formula 1 drivers since it's one of the few helmets that meets the FIA requirements.
