Brian Cohen was the main character in the film Monty Python's Life of Brian. He was a kind, thoughtful but short-tempered man who was mistaken for the messiah. He was born the same day as Jesus and had a horrible mother who always wanted to go stoning even though women couldn't go stoning. One day he found out that he was a Roman, and decided to join a group of people who hated Romans, and also fell in love with the only (biologically) female in the group, Judith. After pranking the Roman Empire, he was chased by Roman soldiers and was saved by aliens, but couldn't hide for long because after people exposed him as the "messiah". Brian sadly, (presumably) died on a cross off-screen while singing "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life". He was played by Graham Chapman.
