Official Marketing Description:
The TARDIS made its debut in the first Doctor Who story, 'An Unearthly Child'.. The idea of travelling through time and space in what looked like a Police Box was revolutionary. The exterior TARDIS prop wasn't an exact replica of a real Police Box.
It was designed by Peter Brachacki and was a little shorter and narrower than the real thing and didn't have any door handles. The first version gained a new lamp in the second season but remained otherwise unchanged until the Fourth Season.
Our model was built by Gavin Rymill. It is 1:21 scale (to go with The Doctor Who Figurine Collection) and stands 130 mm tall to the top of the lamp.
