Photographs from specific races of this era are difficult to track down but this looks like it could pass for Giuseppe Farina's 5th place car for the French GP. It's often cited as the Briitish GP winner but that car had blue surrounding the grille and the front number was evenly placed on the top rather than offset to the side.
Later versions of this release included blue & yellow stripes around the grille, chrome wheels, and identified the car as Fangio's pole-winning car from the 1951 Belgian GP.
