A five pin set, presented in a black case, that includes the ‘Big Five’: elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion and the rhino. The term ‘Big Five’ is used to describe the power and strength of the animals. The term was coined last century as these five animals were the most difficult to be hunted on foot.

This set features from top left to right; the black rhinoceros, a large herbivore having two upright horns on the nasal bridge.  The South African Lion, the largest of the lion species.  The African leopard, is  a large, carnivorous feline, wary of humans and will take flight in the face of danger. 

Bottom left to right is; the African elephant, the largest land-based mammal and can grow up to almost 4 m/13 ft tall. Elephants live in tight-knit families and are very protective of their young.  The African buffalo or Cape buffalo is a large horned bovid. They are the only animals within the Big Five that are not endangered or threatened.  Cape buffalo is considered by many to be the most dangerous of the big five to hunters.

This vertical guitar shaped magnet bottle opener features the luxury five-star hotel Palace of the Lost City, one of the four hotels in the resort complex of Sun City. Above this is an archway, representing those found within the complex, with the words “Sun City”. The background is a light blue sky which begins above the Palace of the Lost City and continues up the neck of the guitar. Midway up the neck is a darker blue Hard Rock logo.

The bottle opener is flanked with two guitars and two royal flush hands of cards – a suit of spades on the left and clubs on the right. Underneath the bottle opener is a banner with one of the Hard Rock mantras “Love all Serve all” printed in an old English script.

Surrounded by the rugged African bushveld, in the heart of an ancient volcano, Sun City is an internationally acclaimed resort, with a unique heartbeat of its own. Sun City pin features a person relaxing in a yellow pool float in the water of the Valley of the Waves at the left. All of the other elements of the pin are copper. Resort buildings including the Palace and Cascades Hotels also feature in the background on the left. Part of the worldwide Core City Icon Series. Each pin is a large guitar body with silver base metal, a prominent city name and one or more iconic local images. Design is 3D pin on pin, with Hard Rock Cafe logo as top layer and all other elements as bottom layer.

Known as South Africa’s answer to Las Vegas, Sun City pin features iconic images of the resort area. The main image is of a roulette wheel which is an acknowledgement to Sun City Casino. To the upper right of this is the green of a golf course with an airborne golf ball as Sun City is one of South Africa's premier golfing destinations. Behind this, moving towards the top of the pin, is the luxury five-star hotel Palace of the Lost City, one of the four hotels, in the resort complex. Above this, is light blue sky, with a hot air balloon baring majority the South African Flag colours in the top left corner. This is likely in reference to the unique hot air balloon safari experience that is offered at Pilanesberg National Park which surrounds Sun City.

Guitar body consists of a prominent city name at top, a djembe drum at centre, and an intricate city scene behind the guitar on both sides. Top of larger guitar body is sky blue. This pin is slightly different as it features a daytime scene – it is, after all, SUN City. The Bridge of Time which is lined with stone elephant statues looking down from their pedestals is the main feature depicted in this pin. The site itself is an attempt to recreate the adventure tale through a lost African land based on the 1885 novel 'King Solomon's Mines' by English novelist Sir Henry Rider Haggard. Behind this is the luxury Palace of the Lost City hotel.

Flag Guitar bottle opener magnet in the shape of a guitar; Hard Rock Cafe logo is located on the neck of the guitar in burgundy letters on an orange circle and location is written in white letters atop a black banner; and, measures 10cm H x 4.3cm W.

This magnet features the flag of South Africa.  The flag has horizontal bands of red (on the top) and blue (on the bottom), of equal width, separated by a central green band which splits into a horizontal "Y" shape, the arms of which end at the corners of the hoist side (and follow the flag's diagonals). The "Y" embraces a black isosceles triangle from which the arms are separated by narrow yellow or gold bands; the red and blue bands are separated from the green band and its arms by narrow white stripes. The stripes at the fly end are in the 5:1:3:1:5 ratio. Three of the flag's colours were taken from the Flag of the South African Republic and the Union Jack, while the remaining three colours were taken from the flag of the African National Congress.
