M2 Machines is the brand name of Castline, Inc.'s line of 1/64, 1/24, and 1/18th (now discontinued) scale diecast models representing cars and trucks from the 1940s up to the 1990s. Production is based in Asia with design and distribution of all products coming out of California, USA.
Their 1/64 models were at first mostly distributed in cardstock boxes, but some recent releases now come in clamshell blister packaging that includes a larger card back with the casting still enclosed by an acrylic display case with a black base.

Each separate 1/64 release has included 4 to 9 vehicles and usually includes a "chase" vehicle limited to 750 or 500 pieces distributed worldwide. Chase vehicles are usually made with gold highlights.
Some series releases also include a more "super chase" vehicle usually limited to 250 or 168 pieces worldwide. Some also include a "chrome" vehicle that is limited to just 108 pieces. Super Chase vehicles are usually done in gold with gold highlights and chrome vehicles are usually completely chromed except for the interior and tires.
Some of M2's series include Auto-Drivers, Auto-Thentics, Auto-Trucks, Detroit-Muscle, Auto-Japan and many others including releases from popular or historical designers.
