Megara

Produced for the 2022 D23 Expo, this doll set celebrates the 25th anniversary of the animated film Hercules. They feature real metal accessories, elegant draping and extensive embroidery. 

As of Feb. 2024 this set represents the only appearance of the character Hercules in a Disney Store release, making it among the rarest of rare in terms of both dolls and characters (prior to this were only Golden Glow Hercules and Legend of Love Hercules, both produced by Mattel for the movie's initial release). Megara is also a rare character, though she has been previously released as both a disney store playline doll, a 17" Limited Edition doll, and part of the Midnight Masquerade series. (Prior to those were the Mattel produced Fashion Secrets Megara and Legend of Love Megara).

For the tldr version: After 25 years since the movie's release, this set represents only the 3rd vinyl doll ever made of Herc and 6th vinyl doll ever made of Meg.
