Munson Paddock (b. January 22, 1886 – d.June 14, 1970) worked as a magazine and newspaper artist, and later drew for the early comic book industry. Paddock illustrated comics strips like 'Mr. Bluff' (1907-08), 'The Wisdom of Wiseheimer' (1907-09), 'Little Miss Thoughtful' (1908), 'Naughty Ned' (1909) and 'Angelic Angelina' (1908-09), and did cartoons for Judge magazine. His features appeared in newspapers like the New York Herald, Los Angeles Times and New York Evening Telegram.

By the mid-1930s, Paddock began working for comic books. His art appeared in early National/DC features like 'The Blood Pearls' and 'Monastery of the Blue God'. At Fox Comics, he was an artist of the features 'Chen Chang', 'The Green Mask' and 'Tex Maxon'. He used a great variety of pen names like Cecelia Munson, Chuck Munson, Walter Frame, Leon Spuds, Lyle Ford, Martin Nye, Pad Doche, Pad Docke, some of which were Fox house names that were also used by other artists.

His final work in the field was 'Buck Saunders', 'Marco Polo' and 'Snow and Colder' for Feature Comics.
