In 1964 Remco started selling it's series of dolls unofficially known as "Big Head" dolls because of their oversized heads. The dolls were about 5-inches tall with the head taking up 2-inches of the total height. The bodies were plastic and unarticulated. The heads were excellent caricatures of real-life people. They were rubber with real hair. The heads could move from side to side.
The Beatles dolls are probably the most easily recognized from this series. While they are highly sought after, there are plenty available. They are hard to find without unofficial haircuts and with their original instruments.
