Treasure Hunts or T-Hunts are Hot Wheels "chase" cars, first appearing as a Segment Series in the 1995 Mainline. Treasure Hunts are produced in limited quantities and randomly inserted in Mainline assortments shipped to retailers. From 1995 to 2010 there were 12 Treasure Hunt cars released each year, with 15 each year starting in 2011.
2012 was the last year that Treasure Hunts were their own series with the traditional green stripe on the card artwork to denote Regular Treasure Hunts. Super Treasure Hunts are now "hidden" on regular Mainline cards. They have Spectraflame paint and Real Rider wheels.
