Series identifier (SKU): 11228 or 12228 (see below).

- each release includes between four and eight cars (including a chase variant each)
- release identifiers on the display base, e.g. "R43" were first introduced in 2013 with Release 19
- Releases 02 to 26 had a boxed packaging version for each car that came with a different UPC and manufacturer ID (12228 instead of 11228)
- Releases 38 to 83 featured seven cars per release
- special liveries packaging started with Release 40 (2017)
- Release 64 was skipped in 2019 and subsequently released in 2020, leading to a switch-up in reference numbers between releases 64 and 65
- from Release 84 onwards, the number of cars per release has been reduced to five
- of the special releases, only S06 features models with reference number.

• Release 19 to 30 (limited to 5,000 units each for regular models and 500 for the chase models)
• Release 35 and Release 41 (Special Edition "Frozen Black Pearl", includes Super Chase)

• Release 57 (Special "Hooker Headers" Livery, includes Super Chase)
