In 1975, a group of racing enthusiasts know as the Williams Grove Old Timers, Gathered near Harrisburg, Pa. They shared a common interest in the early day of motor racing and a desire to preserve that history. They immediately planned the construction of a public museum to be known as the Eastern Museum Of Motor Racing to save that history.
