Designed by Nathan Proch & Jason Hill, and sporting graphics (first seen as early as 2002, on the Toyota Celica released the same year) by Jerry Thienprasiddhi , Synkro was introduced in the AcceleRacers series. Serving as Nolo Pasaro's first choice of vehicle, the car debuts in a street race against Metal Maniacs rival Tork Maddox's Hollowback. The car is originally equipped with a mega bass system. Over the course of the series, the vehicle is gradually equipped with Nitrox 2, adaptive tire technology, and Jump Jets. Synkro is among the AcceleRacers vehicles rebuilt in entirety to match its previous appearance prior to destruction. The car was destroyed during Tone (initial owner) and Tork's duel, rebuilt before the events of Ignition, and then dismantled in The Speed of Silence. Post-AcceleRacers era, Synkro has made various appearances in different Hot Wheels media.
