The Hot Wheels iD series features cars embedded with NFC microchips that combine with apps and interactive track sets to play a multitude of minigames. The id Race Portal records progress for app use and can be combined with regular Hot Wheels track. Hot Wheels id cars can also be raced on the Smart Track, which can be highly customized in a wide range of configurations. All cars sport full deco, Spectraflame paint, and exclusive ID wheels. Several castings were retooled for track use.
