Kojak's Buick from the long-running tv series of the same name starring Telly Savalas. The original version issued in 1976 featured a standing Kojak figure as well as a self-adhesive police badge. Kojak's sidekick Crocker was in the backseat, shooting out through the window.
A wheel below the rear bumper could be turned to produce a 'gun shot sound' (clicks.) A detachable red roof beacon on a stalk (connected to the steering wheel), and final feature was opening doors.
Suspension is extremely fragile and is often broken, even on near mint copies. Other weaknesses include the 'gunshot clicker' and the red roof beacon lens, often missing.
The model was withdrawn in 1980, but has since been reissued more than once, with the Kojak figure in painted white metal and some added superdetailing on the car itself (like silver painted chrome trim.)
