Part of the worldwide Core City Icon Series. Each pin is a large guitar body with silver base metal, a prominent city name and one or more iconic local images. Design is 3D pin on pin, with Hard Rock Cafe logo as top layer and all other elements as bottom layer.

Seattle pin features Mount Rainier behind a city skyline flanked by evergreen trees. Located about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southeast of Seattle, Rainier is the highest peak in the Cascade Range, at 14,410 feet (4,392 meters) above sea level. Mountain on pin is two-tone purple with jagged patches of white snow. Above mountain is light blue sky with radiating silver sun rays and pale yellow clouds with pale blue trim. Skyline consists of thirteen buildings of various sizes, eight of them green, five light green. On either side of skyline are two towering dark green pine trees that rise off the side of the guitar.

Bottom third of pin, beneath skyline, features a thick white horizontal stripe above a thinner teal horizontal stripe. City name appears on white stripe in large silver capital letters. On either side of city name are three brown coffee beans. Seattle is famous for coffee, most notably as birthplace and headquarters of Starbucks. Teal stripe contains five silver stars. Bottom third of pin has an elegant silver border, like an antique mirror, with a large flourish at bottom center.

Hard Rock Cafe logo at center of pin has no city name.
