The two-story Hard Rock Cafe - California Universal City (Hollywood) impressed visitors and locals alike starting in 1996. The Taj Mahal-influenced building and the giant guitar fountain served as a CityWalk landmark. Inside the café one was immersed with authentic music history with famous guitars, clothes worn by artists, and a revolving 1957 classic car perched over the center bar.
The Café was conveniently located in Universal CityWalk — a hub of restaurants, entertainment options, and nightclubs until its closing on January 6, 2020.
