"Even a Ghost Can Fear the Night!" The international jewel thief extraordinaire known as the Black Fox breaks into an upscale Manhattan apartment! But regrettably for the aging burglar, the residents of the apartment are none other than the Red Ghost and his Super Apes! After capturing the would-be thief, the Soviet super-villain decides to put the fox to work for himself! When the Black Fox (with the Super Apes in tow) burglarizes a local jewelry store, he encounters another problem...the Amazing Spider-Man! Can Spidey juggle one fox, one ghost, and a trio of apes? So the underworld boss brings in an assassin from the American Southwest! Puma! Spidey doesn't much about Puma (aka Thomas Fireheart), but he will...very soon! "Beware the Claws of Puma!" Part 2 of 2.On a Manhattan rooftop, Puma lines up the wounded wall-crawler for the kill shot, but the Black Cat intervenes at the last possible moment! With a brilliant display of her powers, the cat fights off Puma! And helps the web-slinger limp back to his apartment! After Felicia leaves Peter's pad, Mary Jane walks through the door! And then Puma smashes through the window! Wow, how is Peter going to save Mary Jane much less himself from the wrath of Puma? And so much for the whole secret identity bit! To say that the web-slinger has some explaining to do...would be the understatement of the year! After the dust settles, the wall-crawler swings over to the Baxter Building to let Reed Richards analyze his new black costume. When Spider-Man learns his costume is "alive," he tries to pull it off; but the alien symbiote has other ideas! Can the Fantastic Four help Spidey with his major wardrobe malfunction?
