Wasp is the superhero persona used by the character Janet Van Dyne. Her powers consist of shrinking and growing using the particles created by her husband Hank Pym (Ant-Man) as well as a pair of wings that grow out when she shrinks in size. In the 2015 Ant-Man movie, the Wasp makes a small cameo before Janet is met with an unfortunate end. It is also teased in the movie that Hope Van Dyne (played by Evangeline Lilly) will be donning the mantel of the Wasp in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects.
