Ulala is the protagonist of Sega's Space Channel 5 series. Since appearing in the 1999 cult-classic, Ulala has remained a prominent character in Sega media and video games as a whole, leading to several promotional material based on the character. She is voiced by Apollo Smile (1999-2014) and Cherami Leigh (2020-present).
Ulala is a space reporter who survived a deadly spaceship "accident" in the year 2489, and was saved by Channel 5 reporter, Jaguar. Ten years later, Ulala becomes the star of her own show, and attempts to put an end to the Morolian Invasion by using her "savvy and funky moves."

A rare variant of Ulala, this toy was exclusive to the Palisades Toys website in 2001, and only a handful were ever made, being randomly sold through purchases to those who bought the standard Ulala figure.
There is no known amount of figures this specific variant has, but there is an estimated ten in existence. Only one has ever been spotted for sale online, which sold for $450 in 2019.
This figure comes with a display base stand and two accessories -- a reporter mic and a gun. This figure of Ulala also has a similar appearance to its standard variant, but with a few minor changes -- those being the character having long sleeves, her mic, gloves, and headphones being red instead of blue, and the box having the "Palisades Exclusive" sticker on the plastic window.
Based on the character from Sega's hit Space Channel 5, Ulala is equipped with a display base, space gun, and microphone. She also comes with two bendable Morolians.
